House available furnished, semi-furnished, or unfurnished. Different rates apply depending on the option selected.

We live in this beautiful home and only rent it while we are traveling. Over the past 13 years, we have hosted various professionals, including visiting professors, graduate students, and faculty from University of British Columbia, as well as medical professionals working at nearby hospitals.

The house is ideally suited for a maximum of 6-7 guests. We accept bookings from families with children and/or related couples only, such as parents with adult children. We do not accept bookings from unrelated groups.

Nearby hospitals include Vancouver General Hospital, UBC Hospital, BC Children's Hospital, BC Women's Hospital & Health Centre, and St. Paul's Hospital.

Nearby colleges and universities include University of British Columbia, BCIT Downtown Campus, Langara College, Vancouver Community College - Downtown Campus, Eton College Canada, Corpus Christi College, LaSalle College Vancouver, and University Canada West.

Nearby schools include Carnarvon Elementary School, General Gordon Elementary School, Kitsilano Secondary School, and Lord Byng Secondary School.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS (If Furnished) 

The house has three bedrooms:

Master bedrooms with ensute bathroom and a queen bed
Second Bedroom with a KingSize bed ( can be converted to 2 single beds)
The third bedroom has one twin bed.
Additional beds can be added if needed.

Guests should be comfortable sharing beds (two guests per bed). For bookings of 7 guests, three guests will share one bedroom.

THE HOME

You will have two full stories entirely to yourself. The house is eclectically decorated and full of character, with beautiful heritage details including:

High and coffered ceilings in most rooms
An exposed brick chimney wall

MAIN FLOOR

The main floor includes:

A spacious living room
A craftsman-style dining room
A fully stocked, renovated kitchen
A powder room
The kitchen opens onto a lovely deck overlooking the backyard.

Please note: deck furniture and the BBQ are available from May through September only, as the deck is uncovered.

SECOND FLOOR

The second floor features:

A Master Bedroom with ensiute Bathroom
A Spacious Second bedroom
A Spacious Third bedroom
A spacious Full Bathroom with bath tub

The ground level of the house is fully independent from the upper levels and is reserved for our personal use.
