Furnished Spacious, clean basement guest suite in great walkable neighbourhood

Spacious, comfortable furnished basement guest suite below my family's home in a great, walkable neighbourhood with cute cafes, groceries, fitness studios and more along trendy Locke Street within a 5- to 10-minute walk. Easy bus access - less than 15 minutes to Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine. Walkable to St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton Charlton campus (15 minutes). Street parking is usually easily available on the same block. Community rental bicycles are also available on our block. Immediate surroundings include green spaces: community garden, small park and a dog park.

Guest suite includes full kitchen with everything you need to cook (pots, pans, utensils, food storage containers, dish towels) and a mini dishwasher. In-unit washer/drier and drying rack provided. Full size bed sleeps two. Washroom includes shower, toilet and sink. Sheets, blankets, duvet, towels for kitchen and bath are provided. Bookshelves stocked with various titles are included. You are welcome to use the backyard including patio with picnic table.

We offer courtesy items to make your first days easy - shampoo, bodywash, toilet paper, kitchen trash bags, basic cooking supplies like olive oil, salt, sugar, tea and coffee, etc. (you replenish during your stay). We include items for cleaning like a vacuum and swiffer and basic cleaning products. 

My husband and I are happy to help with anything that might come up during your visit. We also like inviting guests for a meal occasionally if they have time and would enjoy that. We live upstairs with our 2-year-old daughter.
