he fifth semester consists of two required courses: Introduction to Clinical Medicine II and Biological Basis of Clinical Medicine. The last six weeks of the semester includes a live USMLE review course through Kaplan Medical. Once students complete the 5th semester they are prepared to sit and pass USMLE Step 1 and seamlessly transition into the clinical program.
