The Rental Unit & Property:

In 2019 we completed renovations to make the apartment compliant with the City of London's building & fire code regulations. The result is a very safe, quiet and comfortable licensed rental. The bathroom was fully renovated in January 2021. In April 2023, installed new flooring, kitchen backsplash and painted. The landlords (married couple, no kids) live in the upper unit of the house and take care of all maintenance, including snow clearing. 

Location:

Located just steps from the city transit bus system on Wellington. The apartment is very close to Victoria Hospital (1.4 km / 18 minute walk / 6 minute bus ride / 2 min drive), 2.3 km from the Parkwood Institute (13 min bus / 4 min drive), 4.4 km from St. Joseph's Health Care, and 6.6 km from University Hospital. It is centrally located to all major amenities and metres away from the city's park path system—the Thames Valley Parkway.

About the Space:

This apartment has large windows that look out to the landscaped backyard. There is one private entry (at rear) and one shared entry (side). The appliances included are: a gas stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle and electric coffee maker. The large eat-in kitchen opens into the living room that has a sofa and tv with a Google ChromeCast. Beside, there is a cozy sleeping and dressing area with a queen-sized bed that has a bamboo memory foam mattress. There is a large wardrobe that provides lots of clothing storage; includes a rack with hangers, shelves and baskets to organize smaller items. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, dish towels; everything you need except food/spices. There is a private 3-piece bathroom that includes a custom tiled corner shower. All linens are provided. Laundry room is shared with the landlords, located in the basement. In there you will find an iron and ironing board, vacuum, as well as a broom with dust pan. 

Cleaning Measures:

Everything in the apartment will be throroughly cleaned before you arrive. This includes steam cleaning all pillows, the mattress, rugs, sofa and floors. We take all measures possible to ensure the space, and everything in it, is disinfected and cleaned entirely. All common spaces are regularly cleaned. We use a 3M brand allergen defense furnace filter, replacing it every 2-3 months. The landlords are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
