Furnished Whole house near Foothills Hospital

Short Summary: My partner and I work for the University of Calgary as researchers. I work in head and neck cancer in the department of surgery, my partner works at the Libin Cardiovascular Institute. We are seeking someone reliable to stay in our home with our cat while we’re on Vacation this November. We are prioritizing visiting medical students or residents for this vacancy. The cost of the rental will be free, contingent on providing care for our cat!

About us: we are in our mid-30's and own this home. We have both worked in healthcare/research/academia for over 10 years, and spend a lot of time outdoors. 

We are happy to host interested individuals on a flexible schedule. We will not be home for 2 weeks, but we have several spare rooms and welcome guests to stay with us prior to our departure, and after our arrival home. Please message for specific dates, as it would be a security risk to openly post the dates we are absent! 

About our Home: this home features 3 bedrooms and two offices, 2.5 bathrooms, and two separate living spaces with smart TVs/internet connection/streaming services etc. we also have a massive bathtub, a peloton, a pizza oven, a back yard, and a well-equipped kitchen. We are very close to FMC and ACH, and relatively close to RGH and PLC. We used to have a dog, so if you’re travelling with your pet, this is the place for you. We have a fully fenced back yard, and the entire home is pet friendly. We just ask that your pet be reliable not to damage property or harm our cat!

About our cat: she is nearly 2 years old and has a bunch of extra toes. She is energetic and can get a bit carried away when playing. She will need someone who is not afraid of cats (she isn't viscous, she just plays hard and will bite during play). She is healthy/vaccinated and should be very low-maintenance (she's not extremely affectionate, but she loves to play). Medium length hair, but well groomed. Litter box only needs to be dumped and refilled weekly due to innovative technology.
