I'm moving from Vancouver after working at Vancouver General Hospital for 28 years.  Initially it will be just me and I will need furnished place.   I am exploring short term rentals while I get settled and decide where I want to live. My new job at Cowichan District Hospital starts June 22. I am working in Vancouver until June 17.  I have a sister in Shawnigan Lake so if needed I could delay move in until July. Ideally, I would find a place to stay June 19 to July 18 or something similar. I will be moving my dog over to join me along with all my furniture when I am ready to move into more permanent housing by end of July 2026. At that time it will be a long term rental unfurnished or a purchased condo/townhouse.  I have two sons, but they are 18+ 20years old and they won't be coming right away.
