Furnished Hamilton, Ont-Homestay for medical students doing visiting electives

Hello Everyone, I would like to offer my unused bedroom to be rented out as a homestay for any medical student going to McMaster for a visiting elective or other short-term stays

"Away Rotations"  during clerkship

I am currently studying medicine in Australia so I have no current use for the room and I fully understand the frustration of having to find accommodations when trying to set up a visiting elective.

I have a double-bed room for rent, with access to your own bathroom, and a shared kitchen, living room, study area, backyard, etc.

My mother is the only other one living here and I think she has empty nest syndrome right now so would love to have some company! But don't worry she will leave you alone to study- there is a large finished basement with a quiet area to study, with a desk.

Our home is in Ancaster, off of Wilson street and Shaver Road and a two minute walk from a main bus line that will take you down to McMaster or St Joseph's hospital.

You may even be able to car pool with my mom if your elective start time jives up with her work start time (she likes to leave for work at 6:45 am to drive to Burlington).

There is parking available.

It takes about 15 minutes to drive to any hospital in the Hamilton region.

We also live close to a local shopping area (walmart and luongo's is a two minute walk away), hiking trails, and some pubs if you need to blow off some steam.

Rent is $100 per week or $400 per month, all utilities included (internet too! unlimited data).
