Furnished Private Bedroom and Basement in a Shared House

Welcome to my home! I am looking for a female identifying person to share my home with. This is a unique opportunity because you get a private room in a basement where the basement is for your exclusive use. It includes one bedroom, one bathroom, private laundry, and a kitchenette. Entrance to the basement is through my kitchen, and the front entrance is shared.

I am looking for a non-smoking female identifying person. LGTBQ+ friendly. $1400/month

Basement includes:

• Small Bedroom big enough for a single bed, with a closet and a dresser.

• Small Bathroom with a shower. •

• Living area (couch, coffee table, tv, table and chairs, desk, non-working fireplace) combined with a kitchenette (includes a sink, counter, cupboards, fridge, microwave, air fryer, slow cooker, hot plate, toaster oven, kettle, pots and pans, dishes, cutlery etc.)

• Storage cupboards under the stairs, as well as a big closet in the hallway and a pantry cupboard.

• Laundry room with your own washer/dryer.

• Water, Hydro, Gas, internet included.

• Access to a big garage where you can store a bike.

• Access to the backyard which has a lovely garden and a deck.

• There is permit street parking by the year or the week.

 We have one cat and would prefer no other pets in the home. The ceiling is lowish so someone no taller than 5' 8" or 5' 9” is ideal. 

9 minute walk to Michael Garron Hospital

7 minute walk to Coxwell Subway station.

Close to Shopper's Drug Mart, Library, shops on the Danforth, the Beaches, Greek Town, grocery stores, plus so much more.

Family friendly area with great neighbours, lots of trees, very walkable.

This is basically a shared house situation and I am looking for a housemate. The basement is accessed from inside the house, there is no separate entrance. You will need to enter my home from a shared front entrance right into my open concept, semi-detached home which I share with my adult daughter. The basement is accessed by a door from the main floor kitchen. The basement is pretty much for your own use. We may need to go down there occasionally to change the furnace filter, get something that is stored in the laundry room, but that would be infrequently. The rest of the house is for my daughter and myself. We are a couple of friendly, but private and quiet gals. We are respectful and would treat your privacy with respect. We are LGBTQ+ allies and would like whoever is living here to be the same. We are vegan/pescatarian and are hoping for someone who Is similar (negotiable).
