We live part-time in a lovely two-storey townhouse that we rent out in part or in whole when we work elsewhere for extended periods. During the 2025/2026 academic year, we are making our guest bedroom available for limited periods. The very central location is a short walk (less than 20 minutes to Vancouver General Hospital, and a 10-minute walk to the Canada Line subway to downtown or airport, or the Broadway direct bus to UBC. Our townhouse is on a lovely tree-lined street between the vibrant shopping and dining of Main and Cambie streets. The furnishings are high-end, with an Eames chair and folding screen, marble dining and coffee tables, original art, gas fireplace, piano. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a KitchenAid mixer, a Vitamix, and high-end gas stove and other appliances. The bedroom has its own dedicated bathroom down the hall for your exclusive use. The furnishings include a small desk, bookcase, chairs and side table, plus an (IKEA Trundle bed) that can expand to a double. This bedroom has doors opening onto a completely private patio. Off the upstairs hallway is a closet with a stacked full-size high-efficiency Samsung washer and dryer. Weekly rent for the room and exclusive use of the bathroom is $450, inclusive of utilities and expenses, including Netflix and wifi. No smoking, no pets allowed. An additional study/guest bedroom could be available for an additional charge.
